The NYU Langone Medical Center, one of the nation’s most prestigious academic medical centers, is expanding our Organizational Development & Learning Department (ODL). Currently, we are seeking a Senior Organizational Development & Learning Specialist to join our cutting-edge team.

As a Senior OD Specialist, you will collaborate with corporate senior leadership, leaders in the Hospitals, Medical School, and the Research institute, managers and staff to enable the organization to achieve its vision of becoming a world class, patient-centered, integrated academic medical center.

The successful candidate for this position will play a key role in the long-term success of the Medical Center through the design and delivery/implementation of programs and services that facilitate the alignment and integration of people, processes and technology; vision and strategy; leadership and workforce; and business goals and culture. In addition, the Senior OD Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering ODL services and programs to build skills/competencies and drive employee engagement necessary to support changing organizational and industry demands, as well as design, develop, and implement employee- and team-based services and programs to support the institution’s change initiatives.

Requirements
Qualified candidates will have an MBA or a Master’s Degree in OD, Organizational Behavior/Psychology, or a related field and at least seven years of experience. Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, plus political savvy, learning agility, and high energy are essential to success. Viable candidates must have a strong background in and superior knowledge of OD theory and practice, and a broad range of OD and consulting interventions, including cutting-edge approaches to organizational transformation, change management, talent management, and learning. External consulting experience is a plus, as is prior experience in OD in health care settings. Experience with executive coaching, multi-rater feedback and Myers-Briggs facilitation preferred.
