Job Description
Incumbent is responsible for the development, instruction, administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of varied employee education, training and development programs. Responsibilities include consulting with department heads and supervisors to determine training needs and priorities; planning the development of new training or revisions of existing programs; delivering programs; establishing and maintaining contact with various education and training sources. Supervision is received from the Human Resources Director who reviews program activities for timely progress and quality of results in meeting management’s goals and objectives for training.


Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in training or organization development, human resources or closely related field and six (6) or more years of progressively responsible experience in planning and implementing training/development programs in a large public or private organization; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
