Leads a team of learning and development professionals across multiple locations to develop and deliver performance solutions that improve the productivity of all employees in the Group Insurance Service Delivery Organization (SDO). Assesses the learning/training needs and performance gaps for the organization and proposes and develops plans, programs and interventions to address specific needs and partners with business leaders to solve performance issues. Evaluates effectiveness of training programs and ensures all programs align with SDO's strategic direction and business goals while meeting all compliance requirements Approaches learning in a holistic manner to ensure solutions and curriculum design drive performance and are "best in class" Develops learning strategies using adult learning theory and principles, state-of-the-art instructional design techniques and appropriate delivery solutions Conducts training and facilitates large and small group meetings Partners with executive and line management on all training initiatives and to ensure training program support

Requirements
Experience leading a learning/training organization in a high volume, product oriented, operations environment preferably in the Insurance/Financial Services industry Proven ability to move with speed to analyze and understand business needs and design and deliver solutions Strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills Exceptional communication skills both oral and written Strong presentation and group facilitation skills Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with all levels Experience partnering with senior leaders to solve business needs Knowledge of adult learning theory and principles as well as learning and development best practices Project and resource management skills combined with creative problem-solving techniques Business acumen Must be willing to travel 25% primarily to east coast locations 10+ years in instructional design and facilitation Experience in Group Insurance/Disability management strongly preferred
