|
Provide professional and technical leadership in the areas of staff training and development for Brandman University, including the central office and campuses in California and Washington. In consultation with the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Training & Development, develop and execute a comprehensive program including modules for organizational culture, basic skills, knowledge based skills, professional certification, and leadership that are in line with the overall strategic initiatives of the University. Research emerging industry trends, new technologies, concepts, and techniques to update current training curriculum as appropriate. Design and implement a comprehensive communication program to share training and development program information to the campuses effectively which may include the use of the web, printed publications, and meetings tailored to the needs of campus constituents. May be required to provide own transportation to off-site locations in support of assigned duties and responsibilities. Position requires a flexible work schedule with evening and/or weekend hours. Occasional travel as necessary to accommodate business needs. Overnight travel may be required to University College campuses throughout California and Washington.

Requirements |
 |
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, business administration or closely related field required; Master’s degree preferred or combination of education and experience. Proven ability to provide dynamic leadership, technical direction, and strong project management skills to develop and maintain a training program, including skills in analyzing management and support staff roles as well as in defining function goals and clarifying campus training and development issues. Excellent presentation skills; ability to clearly express complex material in written and oral forms to academic and non-academic audiences. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals and groups at all organizational levels, both inside and outside of the institution.
