Whether at the renowned Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station, Texas, or at customer-specified locations worldwide, TEEX offers high-quality emergency response training and instruction in more than 130 specialty areas.
Primary duties of the Instructional Design Specialist include: designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom and online education and training material that adhere to adult learning principles and theories. Duties also include revising curriculum and designing/developing student learning activities and instructional support materials for both instructor led classroom and online self directed courses. Responsibilities include leading projects and coordinating with team members including subject matter experts, technical writers, and instructors. Reports to the Curriculum Coordinator.

Requirements |

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
One year curriculum development experience required
Experience in online course development and deployment, the development of technical training materials. Experience in project management to inlcude planning or organization. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with eLearning course methods, development and deployment.
Valid Driver's License
Extended use of standard office equipment. Maintain physical ability to perform job functions. Ability to communicate with telephone and computer keyboard.
