Job Description

Guest Services, Inc., a leading force in food service and hospitality management industry, is in search of a creative and knowledgeable Learning Design Specialist, oversee the creation of training and development materials and initiatives, development materials, and programs, with an emphasis on e-learning tools. This individual must be highly organized, positive, and in tune with the current effective trends in employee training.

The right candidate will want to organize and manage the entire online training and development programs for the Company, including advising and educating managers on training initiatives; creatively utilizing sources for the construction of a web-based training programs. The Learning Design Specialist will assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives; identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees; and, actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance and recognize performance. In addition, this position will develop, implement, and maintain electronic tracking of employee certification processes.

The ideal candidate will have previous e-learning development experience and a high level of organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Requirements
Our Learning Design Specialist will have the following: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook required. • E-learning knowledge. Ability to develop and coordinate web based training programs. • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to learn and develop new skills; ability to problem solve. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. • Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change. • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills preferred.
