Job Description
CSC's Corporate Enterprise Learning and Talent Development Department in Falls Church, VA is searching for a Learning and Development Leader. Job Summary: Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates organizational and individual development and learning programs to meet business unit needs. Works as lead in developing large, more complex learning programs. Essential Job Functions

Serves as a point-of-contact for employee development and learning programs to ensure that development needs are communicated, in collaboration with Enterprise Learning & Talent Development (ELTD) Centers of Excellence Uses project management and client management skills to conduct the following activities with learning technology clients: client engagement, capturing and documenting business requirements, task analysis, client negotiation, functionality consultation and business process mapping activities, technology solution design, subject matter expert identification, implementation activities, project evaluation administrative access, and coordination with appropriate support groups. Determines learning and development (L&D) needs of assigned segments of the organization, and administers plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs. Proactively engages and advises learning and talent organization clients in selecting appropriate enterprise learning technology options to meet business objectives Administers and coordinates logistical efforts around employee development and learning programs. Creates the training environment for enterprise learning technology tools and may maintain a training schedule. Establishes and maintains relationships with providers of learning and development services, both internally and externally, to leverage appropriate solutions and understand industry best practices. Manages client expectations and communicates learning technology updates to ensure alignment amongst clients, management, and other stakeholders Contracts with clients and develops relationships to provide ongoing support, and identifies process enhancements Solicits feedback from customers to identify learning and talent technology enhancement needs that fulfill business requirements Maintains learning and development data and metrics to track the progress of department initiatives Collaborates cross-functionally with other ELTD team members to ensure regional and business unit requirements and technology solutions are identified, aligned, and prioritized

Requirements
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources or related field preferred

Eight or more years of training or employee development experience

Experience working with human resources development and learning principles, practices, and procedures for both on-site and virtual presentations

Preferr Candidates with MS in Instructional Technologies

Experience working with learning principles, training practices, and procedures

Experience working with company policies and procedures

Experience working with HRIS and performance management systems Instructional design and adult development experience preferred

Other Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and trainees

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical and creative/resourceful problem-solving skills

PC proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel
